When thinking about what accommodations and modifications a student might need, a suggestion would be to observe your students first. If students are not using these supports or the teacher finds them unnecessary, requesting a change to the student's IEP and removing the unnecessary support may be necessary. Once chosen and included on a student's IEP, it is important that these supports are followed and provided to students.
